Supported by

Being a Woman

March 8th 2016

The Venton Centre, Junction Road, Eastbourne BN21 3QY

Creative Force and Diversity Resource International worked together to develop 'Being A Woman' to bridge cultures and generations in a celebration of women who live and work in East Sussex. Three women from very different cultures, inspired by their journeys with women spoke at the event: Mebrak Ghebreweldi from Eritrea, Lena Holt from Ukraine and Teri Sayers-Cooper from Eastbourne.

For this event we  also invited women to bring a photo of themselves from their childhood to share and to tell us about memories and what 'Being A Woman' meant to them.
